Wow! This was a very good night! It was the first time I really enjoyed watching PDA, all of them gave a good performance, but there were a lot who gave a verryyy good show. Inaki shows what he got with his song, but his voice is not as powerful as Josh Groban, he may have shown his passion for singing but sadly he lacks power. What he should do is to choose a song na maghahighlight ng voice nya. But honestly nagtataka ako bakit siya nasama don, di naman kasi talaga kagandahan ang voice nya. Nagtataka pa din ako na nakakasama siya sa theater, is it acting lang or with singing. Kasi alam ko pag sa theater ka kumakanta dapat powerful ang voice mo. I still like Lambert’s voice pa din. Well his duet with Christian went well naman, though my mga notes si Christian na iniba, and di na siya nagmumukhang second voice tuloy. So next week, wala na akong aabangan na kakanta na mauuna sa music. I guess si Christian pag kumakanta, di nya pinakikinggan whatever the background music is. He would just go on singing and singing even if he is out of tune. Though it’s so sad that he has to go, he is such a nice person. Then the trio of Bugoy, Van and Sen perform their acapella. Wow! As in Wow! It was soooo nice. So nice to hear, so pleasant to listen to and boy, there were so nice to see. I like their getup, so cutey! J Even their fast number was so hot! The next boy band in the making! I think it helps that they are friends in the academy that they are really familiar and at home with each other. With the trio of Zel, Cris and Bunny naman, I cant hear Cris voice, natatabunan ni Zel at Bunny. Kung wala siyang solo lines don, di mo akalain na andon siya. I like bunny sa fast number nila kesa sa acapella, it seems kasi that she was tired na and it shows in her voice. I think that’s also one of the reasons why they didn’t get a perfect score na on their 2nd performance. With the 3rd trio naman, Apple was sobrang out of tune. Her voice is too low, with Laarni and Miguel’s note. I think they still lack the practice, because it showed that though their moves are nice, they still lack the coordination compare with the other teams. Miguel was good that night, far from the Miguel we saw last week. I guess we can attribute it na wala na si Bea. He don’t have anything to think of, kasi nga wala na si Bea. He can act na whatever he wanted. And he and Apple are getting close. Kasi nga they have one thing in common which is music. Si Bea don’t really have any musicality in her nerves. Magluto na lang siya, I guess don siya magaling. Overall, it was a nice show! I enjoyed it, I felt all the songs. And it’s also nice that teacher Kitchy was there na. I guess the scholars really perform their best when they are in a group, duet or trio or whatever.
Of course, there’s some announcements like no one would be expelled next week and that there is a challenger that is coming. It was Puy, teacher Kitchy like her during the eliminations, because she really has a good voice. But then nasupalpal siya ng judges. She has this pinoy mentality kasi na bibirit ng bibirit ng kanta, kahit na di naman magandang pakinggan. And obviously, di na kelangan ng isang Regine V. Tama na yung 1 singer na sigaw ng sigaw sa atin pag pinakinggan mo yung cd nya. It’s not really a gauge of a good singer. But someone who makes you feel the song, who makes you connect to the song as well as understand the message the singer is conveying. Di naman kelangan na bumirit ng bumirit, because it is really out of tune na. Well I hope Puy would be a challenge to the scholars, kasi pag pumalpak siya eh where is the challenge there. I hope teacher Kitchy would give her extra voice lessons, kasi as it is, ilang weeks na ang scholars na nag-aaral so they have an advantage with Puy. Well, let’s see on the next gala night.
